Here we are again !!!!.. Another exciting champions league about to kick off. Last champions league has come and gone. This year 's promises to be spectacular. We have new faces in the champions league like premier league champions Leicester also Tottenham.
Interestingly, Pep will face his old side, Barcelona. Looking forward to that. Bayern could see this as a revenge as they are drawn with Atletico who knocked them out of champions league quarter final last season. Shocker: New Tesla with a 315 mile range

Tesla keeps surprising me. The auto pilot features, the garnishing design, the life saving stories, electrically powered-up car. This time around, Tesla is offering it's electric vehicles with a battery capable of going up to 315miles on a charge (geeez). Prior to now, Tesla's largest battery size was 90kilowatt-hour. With the new version of Tesla, that is, Model S and X vehicle, 10kilowatt-hour has been a bonus, making it 100kilowatt-hour.

With this feature of Tesla, being able to go 315 mile range, fears of car stopping while traveling long distances should be lessened. Unlike gas stations that are readily available as you travel, "charging stations" aren't. You must charge your car before moving.

According to Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Tesla model S sedan will get the 315 mile range while the heavier SUV won't be able to travel as as far on a charge. The P100D sedan will cost $134,500 and SUV will cost $135,500.

Tesla claims that the 100kwh sedan can travel from 0 to 60miles an hour in 2.5seconds, while the SUV can achieve that miles at 2.9seconds (0.4seconds making the difference).

Tesla have been trying to catch the Attention of people. As a result, Tesla is aiming at building great electric car that everyone can afford, according to MR MUSK, Tesla chief executive. Many persons ,for now seem not to be looking into Tesla. U.S are thriving on low gasoline prices, giving people more reason not to look into Tesla. Although  a country like Nigeria could have been a good market, but they face serious economic meltdown.

In the midst of all that, Tesla ain't bothered. More cars on the way as Tesla aims to sell cheaper model 3 electric cars starting 2017.. watch out!

Jennifer Lawrence remains the highest paid actress in Hollywood

Based on Forbes top 10 list, the young and richest woman who earned a total of $46million pre-tax over a period of one year, Jennifer Lawrence, remains the highest paid actress in Hollywood.

The hunger games star already earned  $20million for the upcoming "passengers" next year. According to vanity fair, "she faltered slightly from last year's $52 million earnings but is still swimming in Hunger Games profits". But can she stand on this rank for long?

According to vanity Fair, Lawrence "Hunger Games day have drawn to a close and she's also confirmed that X-men: Apocalypse is her last turn as Mystique in the lucrative superhero series. Unless she turns around and does that Mystique spin off Bryan Singer wants so badly,her upcoming slate of films is franchise-free, filled with prestige-y projects like Steven Spielberg's Lyndsey Additional biopic It's What I Do and untitled Darren Aronofsky project"

Kim Kardashian flaunts weight loss

If you are a lover of "keeping up with the Kardashians" ,you probably have heard this viral news of Kim Kardashian wanting to shed few pounds. Well, i guess she is so happy to have accomplished that and she can't stop showing off the result.

On sunday afternoon, Kim stepped out after attending an HIV/AIDS research fundraiser in Beverly hills. She revealed that she managed to raise $63,000 to benefit those living with HIV/AIDS.

"The 35yr old showed off her incredible legs in a pair of ripped denim shorts while she made her way out of the charity event" according to mirror

Olympic 2016:Japanese millionaire gave $390,000 to Nigerian team

If there has been complain about lack of sponsor, I think this has taken over. Nigeria defeated Honduras to take third place in the Olympics and bring bronze home. Well, their bread is well sliced and buttered. They are also coming home with a total of $390,000. Check that calculator of yours and convert to naira.

Have heard of this prior to the tournament. But I now believe it. A Japanese millionaire, Katsuya takasu rewarded Nigeria for getting the bronze medal.

The Japanese felt he needed to make a contribution towards the team Nigeria that has passed through so many challenges in Rio. First, the Nigerian team was left stranded in U.S, reason because, the flight to take them down to Rio has not been paid for. As if that wasn't enough, financial issues beset them. Their allowances were not paid. So disheartening. That moved takasu. 

According to Quartz Africa, "he donated $200,000 to the team to cover bonuses and allowances and $10,000 to all members of the 18-man team as well as the team manager. Takasu flew to Rio, to personally deliver cheques to the team."

It was really a fulfilling dream for Takasu and team Nigeria. Despite all hassles and hurdles, they still came out third. And thanks to Takasu who also kept to his promise and delivered the money to them.

Our heart also goes out to Chierika ukogu who sponsored herself to the Olympics and took part in a competition that as good as no Nigerian had ever taken part in (see picture below). She still won silver medal. Shout out to you!

CHILD BOMBER KILLS SCORES IN A wedding.History shows that children have been used much more.

In an outdoor wedding at South Eastern turkey, a suicide bomber detonated his explosives. 50 persons confirmed dead. Reports shows that the child was an Islamic state group child of age 12/14. This attack was carried out Saturday night at a Kurdish wedding party near the Syrian border

So many times, the group has used children to carry out these offensives. The group is called cubs of caliphate. It is aimed at indoctrinating children to Isis version of Islam. Teaching them those violent acts such as shooting, beheading and so on and making them look acceptable.

According to AP, groups like ISIS, BOKO HARAM, AL-QAIDA and so on have history of using children to carry out violent attacks. Reports from Human rights shows that children have been recruited by BOKO HARAM in Nigeria and keeps increasing since 2009. In March 25, 2016, a teenager detonated explosives when awards where handed over to winners in a tournament affecting 89 persons, scores killed and some injured.

AP also reported that the leader of AL-QAIDA in Iraq used teenagers as suicide bombers to fight the American occupation in Iraq.
