The Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) in partnership with DigitalSENSE have launched a national cybersecurity campaign tagged- Stop, Think Connect.
The campaign was launched during the just concluded Nigeria Diaspora Security Forum 2016 with the aim of helping “internet users understand not only the risks that come with using the internet, but also the importance of practicing safe online behaviour.”
According to Mr. Remi Afon, national president of CSEAN, young people must learn to report cases of inappropriate comments on social media or in chat rooms or games. He also added that they could also support such issues to an adult they trust as well as by using ‘Report Abuse’ links provided on certain websites.
so watchout for this programme as it has commenced in some schools
